SUMMARY:Inland Waterways (IWW) Workshop in International Cruise Terminal of Golubac
DESCRIPTION:Following the Transport Community Treaty and the Action Plan for Waterborne Transport and Multimodality, the Transport Community Permanent Secretariat is planning to organise the Inland Waterways (IWW) workshop on “Infrastructure Development and Opportunities for Improving  Navigability of the Sava and Danube Rivers”.\nThe workshop will be organised on 10 October 2023 in the premises of the International Cruise Terminal of Golubac, Serbia.\nThe aim of this workshop will be to provide a thorough analysis of the current state of inland waterway transport infrastructure in the Western Balkans, opening discussions with stakeholders for investment opportunities in the field of improving navigability of the Sava and Danube rivers and the possibility for expanding the network in the region.\nDuring this workshop the participants will have the possibility to commit short visits to one of the IWW ports of Serbia that soon will be part of the TEN-T Network and the International Cruise Terminal in Golubac.\n
