Cross-sectoral cooperation is necessary to prevent the inherent dangers incumbent in these goods from happening, therefore continuous dialogue is being insured to facilitate implementation of this acquis.

The Committee is streamlining priority projects in the region concerning safe and secure inland transport of dangerous goods in accordance with EU Directives. The commonly agreed actions complement and reinforce – where necessary – the decisions taken at the level of each Regional Partner.
