OHRID – Almost 60 transport professionals from across the Western Balkans gathered in Ohrid, North Macedonia on 10-11 June 2025 for the TODIS Stakeholders Conference, organised by the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community.

The two-day conference focused on improving how transport data is collected and shared in the region through the TODIS platform (Transport Observatory Data and Information System). Participants included regional users, national coordinators, experts from the consulting firm IDOM, and staff from the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community.

During the conference, participants discuss new EU key performance indicators (KPIs) introduced by Regulation 1679/2024. These indicators will help track how well each mode of transport – road, rail, air, sea, and inland waterways – is performing across the region.

A new and improved version of the TODIS platform was also deliberated. The updated system offers user-friendly tools for uploading, analysing, and comparing transport data, making the work of national authorities easier and more efficient.

During the conference’s second, the participants will review the latest 2025 data uploaded to the platform. Working in groups based on transport modes, they will identify and correct data issues, ensuring the platform reflects an accurate and up-to-date picture of regional transport systems.
