CHIȘINĂU/KYIV – The Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community has been actively supporting the authorities of the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine on their EU integration path. Since early April, the Secretariat has been assisting its observing participants in preparing for the bilateral screening process, a key milestone in their EU accession.
Our team of experts was closely involved in reviewing the presentations developed by the authorities, providing guidance on responding to the European Commission’s guiding questions, and offering targeted written feedback. Alongside other experts, the Secretariat has also participated in multiple rounds of mock sessions, delivering live input and practical suggestions to help fine-tune content and delivery.
With bilateral screening sessions scheduled for June, we wish the authorities every success. The Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community remains committed to supporting Moldova, and Ukraine throughout this crucial process of regulatory and policy reform.
This assistance is financed by the European Union under the grant NDICI-GEO-NEAR/2023/452688 to the Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community related to preparatory activities to support the progressive involvement of Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine in the activities of the Transport Community.
